None of these five character posters for the 300 sequel contain an actual exclamation point, yet they're still exclamatory.

These posters drum up excitement for 300: Rise of an Empire by showing off stars Eva Green, Lena Headey, Sullivan Stapleton, Jack O'Connell, and Rodrigo Santoro, each paired with a declaration such as "SEIZE YOUR GLORY" and "ATHENS WILL BURN."

There's now an Oscar-winning screenwriter rewriting the Man of Steel sequel that everyone's just calling Batman vs. Superman

And Warner Bros. is apparently keen on a three-time Oscar-nominated thespian to play a villainous role that everyone's just assuming is Lex Luthor.

Every year, ten movies compete for visual effects Academy Award nominations via a "bake off," a presentation of scenes and sizzle reels from these VFX-heavy movies to see which five will actually be nominated.

When the next bake off goes down in January, Man of Steel won't be among the movies duking it out for visual effects supremacy.

The Man of Steel sequel we've all been calling Batman vs. Superman is not, in fact, titled Batman vs. Superman.  At least not yet.

That's just what everyone from here to Timbuktu has been calling it for the sake of easy identification, what with it being a movie that pits Ben Affleck's Batman against Henry Cavill's Superman.

So if it's not necessarily going to be titled Batman vs. Superman, what will Zack Snyder's superhero slugfest be called?  Warner Bros. has registered a boatload of domain names that may contain the winner.

If rumors are to be believed, the follow-up to Man of Steel is starting to look increasingly crowded.

Not only will be Batman vs. Superman set up a rebooted Dark Knight, but we've been hearing rumblings that several other familiar DC heroes could be appearing in Zack Snyder's sequel, too.  One of those heroes, it seems, is Nightwing, the grown-up version of Dick Grayson, the original Robin.

And Adam Driver is reportedly the top choice to play erstwhile sidekick to Ben Affleck's Batman.

Speculators gonna speculate.

When three beautiful, dark-haired actresses test for a role in Batman vs. Superman, it's only natural for the internet to wonder if perhaps they're not in competition to play DC's other huge marquee superhero, Wonder Woman.
